‎Book critics, colleagues, close associates, friends and members of the press all gathered last Sunday at the Oriental Hotel to witness the launch of Tokunbo Fasoro's book entitled 'The Persistent Woman'.

The memoir of the entrepreneur, human resource consultant, writer and inspirational speaker chronicles her 20-year painful struggle to get an education in order to avoid societal rejection.

According to Tokunboh who is also extremely passionate about Human Capital Development, no situation should stop anyone from achieving their dreams. 

Tokunbo says; "The book speaks about how I broke through limitations by persistence, resilience, hard work and grit into becoming successful in my personal and professional life. The Persistent Woman concludes each chapter with lesson(s) that relates to personal life and career.

"My journey chronicled in this book inspires readers that no matter how bad the situation around you may be, it shows you practical ways to remain focused in the midst of the struggles; reinforcing that you can be all that you aspire to be and live to your fullest potential!," she added.

The book launch with the theme "Empowering The Future & Overcoming Rejection, which was  also tagged The GiveBack Conference revealed a compelling story of resilience by the married mother of two children.

Sade Osoba's Redemption Love set to rule airwaves

Fans, enthusiasts and listeners of gospel music are in for a treat following the release of the song titled Redemption Love which was composed and delivered by sensational gospel singer Sade Oshoba.

According to the popular gospel singer who started her musical career in a small church in Abeokuta in the year 1998, her new single was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The lover of God who is married to Paul Oshoba (a TV producer/director) and are blessed with three children said she decided to explore the folklore and jazz genre of music to make her rendition more appealing to the ear.

"The fusion of jazz and folklore in the song Redemption Love was done in a bid to attract listeners in that genre of music so as to increase my fan base," the gospel singer who has four albums to her credit said.

The official release of the video for the song Redemption Love which was shot at various locations in the sun city of Johannesburg in South Africa, will be made public soon.

Sade also spends her time as a presenter of African Gospel Mix, a musical programme showcasing talented gospel musician's on RTM, South Africa.

In other quarters, her cliche "praise is all I do" has made her the delight of gospel music lovers and she is also sought after for glory-filled performance in churches, wedding ceremonies, parties, events and concerts.
