The worst thing that could have happened to me has happened –Basketmouth

The last one month could be described as the bleakest in the life of stand-up comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth.

Barely four weeks after his Lekki home was raided in the early hours of September 7th (between the 2am and 4am) by armed robbers who carted away valuables including a CCTV device, the humour merchant also lost his mother some days back.

The distraught comedian who could not hold back his emotions took to his Instagram page to share his thoughts saying he has taken a great fall.

“The worst thing that could have happened to me has happened. You know, before Alice got into wonderland, she had to fall. I've taken a great fall, but the amazing thing about falling is there's nowhere to go but up.

“I have gained a deeper understanding of life and time. I'll become greater in God’s name. And I have faith that everything will work out for the best... for now I'll just breathe and believe in God.” He wrote on his Instagram page.
