Pop star and
Aquila Records signee Tilla has
informed that the video for his new single titled ‘Badman’ will be released on
the Saturday 16th May 2015. The artiste also recently released
new promo pictures to promote his new single which is currently gaining
appreciable airplay.
It could be recalled
that Tilla dropped a music video months ago for single “Mawobe”, starring MTV Shuga’s Dorcas Shola Fapson and
award-winning dance trio D3
Dancers.
The exciting new
video was shot on location in London and directed by Alexx Adjei, with cameo
appearances from the likes of Eddie
Kadi, BOJ (DRB LasGidi) and Kida Kudz among others.
Produced by OY Beatz, Bizzouch and Phantom,
with Suka Sounds adding his
Midas touch in the mixing and mastering, “Mawobe” is a welcomed return to form
for Tilla - formerly known as Tillaman - who has previously brought
us classic hits such as “Puyanga”,
“Fori Fori” and “Ko Ma Roll”.
With its glorious
drum patterns, catchy melody, lush horns and synth arrangements, “Mawobe” is
turning out to be a captivating and infectious song.
