MultiChoice remains the best pay TV Company in Nigeria - Gabriel Eretehabor

Fast-food restaurant operator and DStv subscriber, Gabriel Eretehabor, emerged the latest winner of a brand new KIA RIO salon car at the last draws of the ongoing DStv SuperCruise Promotion. He was officially presented the car by executives of DStv at a prize presentation ceremony held at the City Mall, Ikeja, Lagos. The elated Gabriel was full of praises for MultiChoice DStv for the fantastic gift. (Excerpt)

Q: Congratulations sir on your winning a brand new car in the ongoing MultiChoice SuperCruise promo. To start with, for how long have you been a DStv subscriber?

A: We have been DStv customers since 1998. The same year we got married. We bought our first decoder then and we have been premium subscribers from that time till now. We remained DStv customers because all the programmes we love are on DStv; and we chose the DStv premium bouquet so that the whole family can watch whatever channel on DStv that appeal to them.

 Q: What was your reaction when you heard you won a car in the ongoing MultiChoice SuperCruise promo?

A: Oh it was a wonderful experience; a beautiful feeling. I was so elated! But it didn’t come as a shock because over the weekend some of my friends have already called to inform me that my name was announced on radio-Wazobia FM as the winner of a brand new KIA RIO in the MultiChoice SuperCruise promo. I wasn’t aware of any promo. I mean, I didn’t enter for any promo. But when the MultiChoice team called and said I paid the annual subscription which qualified me to enter for the promotion, I was so happy. Really it was a wonderful experience for me and my entire family.

Q: Tell us your best channel on DStv?

A: If you say your best channel, that means you are trying to narrow it down. I would rather you say, what are my best channels because I enjoy watching several channels on DStv. For one, I enjoy CNN, I love BBC and I also love SuperSport because I love watching the English Premier League, the Champions League and other international soccer games. So because I don’t want my wife and kids to disturb me when I watch my soccer games, I decided to get two DStv Exploras so that we can watch different programmes at the same time. My kids love cartoon channels and my wife loves AfricaMagic. So we can all watch our favourite channels. But in the evening we all come together to watch my wife’s favourite channel i.e AfricaMagic.

Q: Considering the fact that you just won a brand new KIA RIO courtesy MultiChoice, what message do you have for other DStv subscribers concerning this promo?

A: My message to other subscribers is simple. DStv stands for togetherness, DStv stands for family unity, and it stands for fun. DStv stands for celebration and it brings families together. I was informed that there are still other cars left to be won and I don’t want to be greedy. I would have said let me make another subscription payment so that we can win another car. (He laughs). But all the same, I encourage all TV viewers to go get their own DStv because if other pay TV companies are good, DStv is better and if these other pay TV companies are better, then DStv is the best. So everyone should go out there and get their own DStv so as to be part of this wonderful family.
