Nodash's Unusual Approach To Revolution

Judging by the numerous pro-nigeria tweets and posts by youths on social media, it's obvious that a revolution has already started in Nigeria and just when most people thought there was nothing left to inspire the movement for change, filmmaker Nodash took the cause for change to a whole new level.

Sometime last year, the young multiple award winning filmmaker, went to his bank and withdrew a large chunk of his hard earned money, not so he could go to the club and show-off like some of his peers would do and not so that he could buy some new filmmaking equipment like other directors would but he invested it on a worthy project.

Nodash invested in the future of Nigeria by using his hard earned money to produce a first-of-its-kind musical satire titled Good People Dead.

The musical satire is an inspiring story that will leave and onlooker thinking. It is a well scripted video about the unknown power we all have against a system that offers nothing nothing more than sorrow, blood, tears and despair.

The video according to Nodash is the product of a thought process described by the video title and its an indication and a pointer to the fact that young people in Nigeria are wiling to do what they need to do to change the country for good.

"I used to be one of those people who only cared about their personal prosperity, whatever happened to the country was none of my business. The thought bothered me for a while but now I understand that if only we had more people who are willing to do their own part, then the country will change for good.

"So I asked myself, what can I do? I am a filmmaker, not a president, governor or senator, so what can I do? I know I may not have the power to change policies or contest in the next elections but I am a damn good storyteller. So I decided to tell a short story with this music video.

"My rationale was that if we can inspire young people, then we are halfway towards changing the country. Young people are most influenced by videos and music so I decided to do something that has never been done in Nigeria in the form of a musical video satire.
