Bespoke comedy drama series titled Issues is now on DVD; the maiden edition of the comedy series
produced by Mo Eva’s World Productions will be distributed by I Concept Films
Limited.
The series prides itself as the first Nigerian comedy production
with a blend of different real life stories interwoven all in one. With a
refreshing combination of rib cracking action themes infused with captivating
wit and humour, Issues is set to be the
ultimate medicine to ease off tension of the average Nigerian movie lover.
Written, produced and directed by award-winning
filmmaker, Eva George, the series features talented actors such as Abimbola
Ademoye, Edewor Ajueshi, Lee Samuel, Frank Paladini, Dorcas Paul and a host of
others.
The comedy series is an expose of the Lagos lifestyle,
Silifa an Illiterate from Ibadan who finds herself in different situations as
she tries to follow the ‘Lagos trend’.
Silifa becomes a blessing to some and pain to others in a production
that promises to make the viewer reel with laughter.
The DVD version of the comedy series will be available from
the 3rd of April and prospective buyers can also order online on the Konga
platform.
