Throughout the month of June, GOtv
subscribers will experience action-packed entertainment on their chosen bouquet
whether GOtv Plus or GOtv Value. The month of is now set-aside as an
action-month from movies to documentary, kiddies, and sports programming.
‘The football season maybe over but there’s
non-stop entertainment on GOtv. June will be a month of suspense, drama and
thrill’, says Efe Obiomah, GOtv’s public relations manager.
“Subscribers will feel the adrenaline rush
with the action-fantasy, “Season of the Witch” starring Nicolas Cage, and see Demi
Moore as she unleashes her woman-power in G.I Jane on Mnet Movies Zone, she
noted.
‘The action continues on Sony Max with “Season
5 of 1000 Ways to Die” on Sunday 7 June, and the premiere of “Body of Proof” on
16 June, she added.
GOtv also celebrates eight artistes from
across the continent of Africa who have been nominated for Best International
Act: Africa at the prestigious 2015 BET Awards. Aka and The Soil from South;
Nigeria’s WizKid and Yemi Alade; Sarkodie and Stonebwoy who are repping Ghana;
Fally Ipupa from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sauti Sol of Kenya make
the nominees list.
From the international scene, Chris Brown and
Nicki Minaj lead the BET Awards with an impressive six nominations including;
Best Male R&B, Pop Artiste, Best Collaboration, Best Female Hip Hop Artist
and Video of the Year.
