Longstanding artist and Hypertek Digital Dancehall act, Rocksteady was recently featured on Daily Times' Life & Times magazine and the fiery lyricist opened up on a host of things .
In the interview he speaks on diverse topics including his relationship with his Hypertek Label colleagues whom he calls brothers and he went on to describe his mentor and Hypertek Digital boss 2face Idibia 'as the second Abami Eda after Fela-Anikulapo Kuti'. The late great Fela often called himself Abami Eda meaning weird one.
'Definitely before the end of the year' was his reply when asked about the release of his album. Rocksteady also threw more light on the meaning of his wave making single Okporoko Biz.
'Okporoko is one fish I love so much and it lasts longer in the house besides I want the world to know that I have been in the industry for a while. I and am here to stay. '
