David Jumbo popularly known as Mr. 2Kay is still braking boundaries with his song, "Bad Girl Special Remix" as MTV Europe launched the video on its mainstream channel last week. The song and video which features Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay, was premiered on Tuesday, June 21, 2015 and has since been enjoying rotation on the prime channel.
It may also interest you to know that "Bad Girl Special Remix" beat several other great songs and videos to notch number one on Soundcity's Top 10 Nigeria Music countdown on Friday, July 3, 2015.
According to Mr. 2Kay, "all of this is coming as a surprise, especially because "Bad Girl Special Remix" was released in February; I just thought the love had been exhausted, but the airplay keeps coming, and it is yet to get off several music charts around the country. I can't believe that MTV Europe is playing my video and now, it is number one on Soundcity. I sincerely owe this to the fans, the media and of cause, my record label."
Several reviews and guests at the AFRIMA Industry Nite event talked about Mr. 2Kay's performance, especially when he sang "Who No Like Better Thing", alongside The Jonzers and the "Bad Girl Special Remix" with the support of Cynthia Morgan.
"Mr. 2Kay will be releasing a new song with one of the biggest artistes in Nigeria soon," revealed a spokesperson at Grafton Entertainment. "Fans will have to look out for it", he concluded.
