Bono Supports AFRIMA 2015



Irish singer, songwriter, musician, venture capitalist, businessman, philanthropist and front man of Dublin-based rock band U2, Paul David “Bono” Hewson has shown appreciation and support for the All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, an effort that recognises, awards and preserves Africa`s rich music culture organised in partnership with the Africa Union Commission, AUC.
It could be recalled that the 2015 edition of AFRIMA received a total of two thousand five hundred and fifty eight (2,558) entries at the close of entry submission which is progressively higher than the 2014 edition with 79.2%.
Winners will emerge through a voting process which will occur via the AFRIMA Academy and public voting which is strictly online. The All African Music Award ceremony promises to be a premium and star studded event which will be beamed live across 84 countries on 109 TV stations around the globe.
