In what is seen as a new twist, Project Fame in collaboration with 960 Music, Ultima Productions is launching a contestant and artist collaboration for the bespoke reality TV show.
In this new segment, contestants are paired with an established artist to remake his/her song, as well as create a new song together with renowned producers and songwriters.
The hit producers selected to work with the contestants are Password, Shizzi, Sarz, Del B, Selebobo, DJ Coublon and Cobhams Asuquo. Password will also double as a songwriter with Monica Ogah.
The idea behind this new initiative is to give the contestants a feel of the real world, before they exit the Academy. This is similar to Geoffrey's partnership with 960 Music, which helped him launch his professional career after winning Project Fame last year.
Geoffrey is also set to launch recent collaborations with Oritse Femi in Bursting My Brain Remix and Chidinma in Obi Mo.
