Afro hip hop artiste, Akotun Abiodun Oluwatunmise aka Reero foresees a bright future for
himself on the music scene and he hopes to become an artiste to be reckoned
with in the coming years.
The talented artiste whose musical influences include
Davido and Wande Coal looks forward to working with frontline producer Don
Jazzy in the near future as he looks to carve a desired niche for himself.
“I’d love to work with Don Jazzy in the near future; he
is about the best producer we have at the moment. I am also looking forward to
collaborations with Davido, Olamide and Wande Coal too. These aforementioned
artistes inspired me a whole lot and I am eagerly waiting to work with all of
them.” He said.
Growing up for the Reero wasn’t easy as the artiste who
attended Saint Michael Children School and later Omole Grammar School struggled
to through school and later on the streets as he pursued his dreams to be a
musician of repute.
But his struggles are not deterring his ambition and he
believes he is on course to achieving his dream of becoming a renowned artiste
in time soon to come considering the flourishing nature of the music industry.
“I am very impressed by the output of Nigerian artistes;
everyone has improved and others are not doing badly at all. That singular fact
gives me courage to continue to give my best as a musician and I believe the
sky is the starting point for me”.
