Ravishing Nigerian-Canadian thespian, moviemaker,
songstress, Peace Ambassador (NASELS Nigeria), humanitarian and victim
advocate, Uba Onwudiwe has been in positive spotlight in recent times and her
unaltered support for humanity has not gone unnoticed. The married mother of
many parts was recently bestowed with a Lifetime Achievement Award by DeeDee
Entertainment Awards in the United States of America.
The award was handed to her in recognition of her
antecedents, commitment to youth, and selfless service to humanity which has
attracted the younger generation. Reacting after receiving the award, the cultural
music ambassador thanked the organisers of the award while also thanking her
fans for their unalloyed support.
“I am deeply humbled and honoured to receive a Lifetime
Achievement Award from DeeDee Entertainment Award in the USA on the 19th
of September, 2015. Special gratitude to my family, friends and wonderful fans
for all your support and encouragement.” She wrote on her facebook page some
days back.
