Shina Peller stages 4 events in celebration of his 40th birthday

Last week Lagos stood still as the King of Night life Sir Shina Abiola-Peller celebrated his 40th birthday in grand style. It was an elaborate series of events that began on the 12th of May with a novelty soccer match at Meadow hall Lekki ,the match was between the above 40s and the below 40's. in attendance were a host of celebrities including : Freeze, Basketmouth, Alibaba, Dj Jimmy Jatt, Olu Maintain, Do2tun, Bovi, Tekno, Sound Sultan, Anuel, Tilla, Banky W, Que Peller, Base One, Ay, Sexy Steel and several others. the above 40 team won the match with 6 goals to 3, guess the older they are the better they get. 


Friday plans started as early as 7am with the philanthropic celebrant giving back to the society, he donated Huwaei Tablets with pre-installed educational syllabus and solar bags at Kuramo Senior Secondary School and victoria Island secondary school, Sir Shina Peller also appreciated the effort of some selected staff of the schools and gave them tablets to encourage them. Sir Shina Peller went further by giving university scholarships to 6 best students, 3 from each school. 

After that, the celebrant visited the Pachielli School for the blind and partially sighted this is a tradition, which happens every year. He donated cash and educational materials to support the children and also pledged to sponsor 2 pupils through out their educational career after graduating from the school. He went further to visit the motherless babies home in lekki, which is also a yearly tradition.


Sir Shina Peller who is a prominent Remy Martin influencer was hosted by the said brand on Friday evening to a cocktail party at the Remy Martin XO lounge with a few people. After the party the train moved to the luxury nightclub Quilox for the birthday count down. At 12-midnight fire works went off to wish the chairman of Aquila group of companies a happy birthday. 

The club was lit till the wee hours of the morning when everyone went home, and convened again at the House of the celebrant for a prayer session on Saturday morning to thank God for the gift of life.


Later in the evening the celebrant hosted a few of his friends and close family members to an exquisite dinner at Intercontinental hotel Victoria island, where dignitaries like: His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Elegushi, the Deputy Governor of central bank of Nigeria Bayo Adelabu, LIRS Chairman Mr. Folarin Ogunsanwo, Inspector General of Police Mr. Solomon Arase, AIG Tunji Alapini, Lagos State Commissioner of police Mr. Fatai Owoseni, Lagos State Commissioner for Housing Prince Gbolahan Lawal, Lagos State commissioner for Tourism Art and Culture Mr. Folarin Coker, Executive Director Heritage bank Mrs. Mary Akpobome and her husband Ali Baba, Chairman Heyden Petroleum Prince Dapo Abiodun, CEO Nestle Nig PLC Mr. Dharnesh Gordon, Bovi, Senator Obadara, Aremo Segun Oniru, K1 DE Ultimate, E-Money of 5star records and many others were in attendance with AY as the host of the night. During the dinner there was special performances from Cobhams, Dare Art Alade and Humblesmith.


After the dinner guests convened again at Quilox for the after party themed SP 0040, with performances from Lamborghini, K1 DE Ultimate, Que Peller, Base One, Tilla, B Red, Tekno sizzled the guests, dancer extraordinaire Kaffy also thrilled the elite crowd


The celebration continued as the king of night life took it up by a notch when he assembled select guests for a yacht cruise on Sunday, the boat left the Lekki at 7.30pm. The premium lifestyle event had in attendance DJ Jimmy Jatt, E-Money, Kcee, Mr Songz, Skiibi, Tilla, Que Peller, Base One, Lamboghini, Kaffy and a host of others .The Five star music crew held the guests spell bound with a special tribute performance in honor of Shina Peller also the Aquila record's artistes were also not left out in the performances. After the boat sailed the water for about 3 hours and as usual the party was then moved to Club Quilox to end this wonderful 4-day event.
