As the Last Tuesday of the month draws closer, we’re more eager for this edition! Last month we served you ‘hot and steamy’ with M.I’s flows; this month we cool it down with Aramide’s ‘girlieness’, but make no mistake, the guitar-strumming AfroSoul diva is definitely for the boys!
Aramide, who was crowned the Best Female Vocal Performer at The Headies last year, is an in-house fave and we’ve watched her grow and get stronger both with her lyrics, delivery, and even stage presence. From the butterflies-in-tummy type love song ‘Iwo Nikan’ to the more fast paced wedding-reception type song ‘Feeling this feeling’, Aramide has an array of songs you would love to sing along to concert-style at TARUWA.
As always there will also be opening acts giving you various performances in spoken word, music and more. Our supa-dupa-funny-as-hell inhouse MC ‘Oluwabibs’ will be your host for the evening, so come ready with some tissue to dab at the tears while you laugh.
