The acclaimed Nigerian singer Flavour N’abania is currently in Nairobi, Kenya. He will be returning to Coke Studio Africa for a third time this year!
Last year on the show he was a fans favourite thanks to his collaborations with Ugandan sultry singer Juliana Kanyomozi. This year, Flavour will be collaborating with Angolan artiste of the Atchu Tchutcha fame Yuri Da Cunha. The two artistes will be produced by the Ugandan producer Bushingtone and are expected to re-do some of their loved hit singles. Determined to maintain his stature on the upcoming new season, he said, “Many of my fans have loved my Coke Studio Africa collaborations because of my chemistry with the ladies. This time it will be different because I am working on a vibe with Yuri too, and we’re getting there.”
Exclusively speaking during the recording of the show – Flavour spoke highly of Yuri: “He’s such a wonderful and talented musician. We’ve spent some great times in the studio.” Flavour also spoke about the success of Masterkraft’s song Finally that featured him and Sarkodie. “The collaboration of Finally started right here at Coke Studio Africa last year. He played me the beat in Kenya and we started performing – later in Nigeria Sarkodie came and did his verse and then boom!”
