Sonorous singer, Chichi of Africa, remember her? The child singer that wowed many in the late 1980's with her music until 2006, when she suddenly disappeared from the scene has kind words for Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu.
In a recent interview, the married singer turned make-up artiste who has now resigned to her quite life with her pilot husband praised Toyin for her large heart after she spearheaded a campaign to raise funds to the tune of over $100,000 for cancer patient, Mayowa Ahmed who eventually died after efforts were made to save her life.
“Usually I don't do this, but it is necessary. I have never met Aimakhu Toyin in person, but it is obvious that she is 1 with a large heart who will go out of her way to help someone she has never met. What she did for Mayowa is exemplary. God bless you tremendously Toyin and give you helpers in your time of need.” Chichi said.
