Three weeks after robbers raided the Lekki phase 1 home of stand-up comedian Basketmouth carting away valuables, the ex-rapper has revealed in an interview that he was glad his kids did witness the horrible experience.
Speaking with Punch in an interview, the humour merchant said that he was happy his kids were fast asleep when the robbers came calling carting away valuables including the CCTV camera thereby leaving no trace of their crime.
When asked about the robbery experience, the comedian said; “I will rather not talk about the robbery incident because it is in the past now. I just thank God nobody was hurt. My kids were asleep throughout the incident so that is something to really thank God for as the trauma would have messed them up for a while.''
Fellow comedian and colleague, Bovi broke the news about the robbery incident when he took to his Instagram page to reveal details of the incident while also confirming that no one was hurt during the robber operation moments after the incident occurred.
