Confess your sins before claiming repentance, Suleman tells Otobo

Founder of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman seriously doubts the claims of his accuser Miss Stephanie Otobo who revealed recently that she is now born again and focused on making something out of her life by ministering to others through music.

Apostle Suleman in a statement by his Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, expressed doubts about Otobo’s new claim of being born again noting that she should confess her sins for the allegations leveled against him before claiming to be born again.

The Auchi based cleric, among other things demanded “the explosive incontrovertible evidence” she had boasted about; the travel documents “she promised to reveal and the nude pictures she claimed to have in her possession.”

He demanded that Miss Otobo provide answers to her claim to have been involved in an amorous relationship with him while calling on Nigerians to take her claim of repentance with a pinch of salt.

“A girl, who lied that she had her marriage introduction in the Apostle’s office, should be honest enough to do her damage control in the office of the court where she filed her suit by providing supporting proof rather than this suspicious ‘handing it over to the Lord’ when the time came for her to have her day in court," he said.

Continuing, he added that; “Apostle Johnson Suleman has refused to be blackmailed and his refusal has frustrated his accuser and her sponsors who now hope that this issue will die a natural death but you cannot play with the Lord’s servant and now go to Him without first confessing.”

Apostle Suleman also added that he finds it amusing that after filing a $5 million lawsuit against him that Miss Otobo will now decide to back down and move on with her life.

"After besmirching the reputation of a man that she has never physically met, Stephanie Otobo, who filed a suit for $5m against Apostle Johnson Suleman in a Canadian court in abuse of court process, now claims she is born again and wants to put the whole saga behind her and forget the matter and withdraw the case?

“Her father called her a liar. Her mother called her a liar. Her best friend said she was a blackmailer and when given the chance to prove them all wrong, she suddenly becomes born again? No! We refuse to accept that. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. He who comes to the Lord must come with contrition.”

About two weeks ago, Miss Otobo slammed Apostle Suleman with a $5 million lawsuit lodged at an Ontario court in Canada with case file number CV-17-573595, signed by Registrar of the Ontario Superior Court and addressed to Apostle Suleman’s Ontario residence.

The alleged former stripper who now claims to be born again sued for damages resulting from breach of trust, breach of fiduciary relations, breach of contract, negligence, defamation, poisoning, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional stress, forcible confinement, and multiple instances of battery, false imprisonment, fraud, assaults, sexual assaults, sexual harassment and malicious prosecution.
