Van Vicker Bonds Ghana, Tanzania

Van Vicker, the newly appointed Accra Regional Director of the Film Directors Guild of Ghana has just finished editing his ninth movie and it is set to premier some few months on.

The movie, which happens to be the most anticipated movie collaboration between Ghana and Tanzania, is set to be premiered in Tanzania in May and June in Ghana.

The star said this latest movie is his ninth self-directed movie – three of which he was contracted to do by other producers and he’s very proud to have come far in both the directing, acting, and producing filed.

The movie which stars actors Timothy Bentum and Tazania’s superstar, Wema Sepetu, is a story about an officer who has returned home after years of peace keeping in a foreign land. He suffers from a rare disease that renders his muscles inactive, thus ‘stiffens’ him.

Doctors pronounced he has only a few months to live since his condition is fast deteriorating. Whilst reading to his daughter, she sees him in his ‘stiff’ state, his nose bleeding. He leaves home because he refuses to be seen as a weakling by his daughter. He awaits his death…but there is a day after death.
