NFF Boots Out Stephen Keshi

Following what it described as a lack of commitment to the objectives of the Super Eagles as stated in his contract, under fires National Team coach has been sacked by the Nigerian Football Federation.

The former Mali and Togo handlers job came under intense scrutiny since the 2-0 victory over Chad after he put a non-league player on the bench and his name also appeared on the FIF website as one of more than 50 coaches applying for Cote d'Ivoire national team job.

His move to apply for the job of the Ivorian National Team incensed officials of the NFF and an investigation was duly carried out.

Reports also suggests that the findings by Barrister C‎hris Green who was sent by NFF to thoroughly investigate reports that Keshi applied for the Ivory Coast job  may have ‎nailed the fate of the 2013 African Nations Cup winning coach.
