Gospel singer,
Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON, on Tuesday evening took delivery of new modern musical
equipment worth N150 Million from Turin, Italy. This is coming after the
successful take-off of his recently licensed radio station.
The arrival of the equipment, which
took his staff by surprised, was greeted with large and deafening applause.
The equipment which was accompanied
by two Italian Sound Engineers was specially customized for the artiste, a
release signed by his publicist, David Ajiboye explained.
Ayefele, a gospel singer has created
an image for himself in the Nigeria’s entertainment industry as a formidable
force to reckon with. Known for releasing an album once a year, the Ipoti-Ekiti
born minstrel has defied all means to be on top of his game.
The new equipment, according to
Ayefele is necessary considering the level and pattern the entertainment
industry in Nigeria is gearing towards. “The equipment you’re looking at is a
result of several research work done by my engineering team on the need to be
different from the crowd”.
“We just took delivery of new
customized equipment that is specially made for Yinka Ayefele and ‘The Merry Makers
Band’, the equipment will make our job easier, effective and outstanding”, he
said.
