The name Juliet Uzoma-Aguwa may not ring a bell in movie
circles but the mother of two had a short stint as an actress before she moved
abroad. The beautiful mother of two daughters who survived the pangs of breast
cancer when she was diagnosed of aggressive breast cancer stage 3c in 2008 is
back with her annual Fashion For The Cure event which will be staged on the 3rd
of October in Houston, Texas, USA.
The event is positioned to continue to inspire women around
the world who seem to have lost hope that there could be life after the
diagnosis of breast cancer, and women in general, who like her, can change
their death sentences to a ‘’life worth living to the fullest’’.
Born in Imo
State on October 2, 1973, Juliet grew up in Niger State. Her dad passed away
when she was 7 years old leaving her mother to play the role of both parents.
After Secondary
school, she studied theatre arts at the
University of Port Harcourt. After graduation, she pursued acting for a
while, appearing in several TV series and Talk Shows on NTA, Lagos, including drama series, Twist Away and Memorial Hospital before she migrated to the USA
to further her studies.
