The hip hop scene is about to experience more buzz especially with plans for the second season of Hennessey VS Class event reaching advance stages. To show it's appreciation to a music genre which has played an important role in its growth, Hennessy created the VS Class platform to promote hip hop and discover new MC's with true passion and undying love for the art in Nigeria.
The winners of last year's VS Class, Vemor, Eclipse, Oba Dice and Fat Boi have worked on a track with Kid Konnect and it will be released in the coming days.
The Hennessy VS Class was created in partnership with The Beat 99.9 FM in 2014 to promote the hip hop community in Nigeria and it has showcased some of Nigeria's best lyricists such as; Modenine, MI, Vector, Loose Kanyon, IllBliss, Reminisce, and Dark Poet among others
Since its creation in 1765, the Hennessy brand has cultivated the most diverse musical influences, ranging from classical to jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, R&B, rock, Latin, pop and electronica.
To enter, participants are expected to upload a 15 second video of rhymes spitting on Instagram or Twitter. Participants are also expected to post their entries with: Twitter @HennessyNIGERIA and Instagram @Hennessy_NG. The use of hashtag #HennessyVSClass is also expected to be part of their posts.
