This certainly not the best of times for talented
entertainer, Kevin Chuwang Pam; the actor, rapper and MC lost both his cousins Ibrahim
Nyam and Jimmy Pam who were ambushed and murdered alongside others on their way
home unarmed and unsuspecting.
The victims were waylaid by armed Fulani herdsmen at
night on Barkin Ladi road last weekend who dispossessed them of their
belongings and slaughtered their victims. The wave of killings in the middle
belt seems unending and a rather sad Kevin said; “this senseless killings must
stop. Lots of lives have been lost and I can’t imagine this happening to my
close relations, it is disheartening.”
Kevin was the first Nigerian to win the television reality show, Big
Brother Africa, dubbed Revolution in 2009. He became the Chief Executive
Officer, Down2Earth Entertainment moments after emerging winner of the reality
TV show. The Jos, Plateau State-born graduate of University of Jos also married
his fellow Tanzania’s housemate, Elizabeth Gupta and they have a baby girl.
