Ramsey Nouah plans remake of first successful Nollywood movie



In what is seen as bringing back the old times, Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah alongside entertainment and business mogul, Charles Okpaleke are joining forces for the remake of the critically acclaimed first successful movie in Nollywood titled ‘Living in Bondage’.
The movie which was then produced in Igbo language and released 1992 by Nollywood practitioner Kenneth Nnegbue, featured actors like Kenneth Okonkwo (Andy), Kanayo O Kanayo, Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Ngozi Nwosu, Rita Nzelu and Francis Duru among others.
According to findings, both Nouah and Okpaleke are said to have bought the rights to redo the movie from the owner and producer, Kenneth Nnegbue. Also, production for the movie which is going to be remade with 21st century technology for the viewing pleasure of movie freaks will commence in 2016.
Information reaching us also suggests that the movie which will be star studded will have casts from Nollywood and Hollywood and it will be shot in three different continents: Africa, Europe and America.
