Head Gone, The Movie Now On DVD

The producers of award winning comedy movie, Head Gone have announced their intentions to release the movie on DVD based on the yearnings of movie buffs who have been clamoring for the release of the spectacular movie.

A production of the Naija Ninja company owned by the duo of talented brothers, Dare and Lanre Fasasi, popularly known as Baba Dee and Sound Sultan respectively, Head Gone has been described by critics as one of the funniest movies ever made in Nigeria, with festival selections that include Berlin film festival, African film festival New York, African film National travel series America, among many others.

Directed by Baba Dee, the film was premiered earlier in the year in countries like Austria, Italy, Sweden and Germany. The film also won the award for comedy film of the year at the 2015 GIAMA awards.

The all star comedy movie starred an unusual line up of talented music and movie stars such as Basorge Tariah,  2face Idibia, Basketmouth, Ali Baba , Saka, Papi Luwe, Zark Orji, Akpororo, Eniola Badmus, Sound Sultan, Segun Adefila, Wale Ojo, Ik Osakioduwa, Tunji Shotimirin ,Peter Fatimilola, among many others. 

Speaking concerning the release of the movie on DVD, the director of the movie. Baba Dee said the release is necessary to respect the yearnings of the general public who have clamoring for the release of the  movie. "Since the first day we started public screening and our premieres, we have been getting messages from different fans asking questions about the release of movie. Majority of them who live where they don't have access to Cinemas felt disenfranchised and have kept mounting pressure on us. The most engaging part of it all is the social media because of its accessibility. After much deliberations, we have decided to listen to yearnings of the fans and release the movie. I enjoined families to watch it together".

The Head Gone DVD will be distributed nationwide by Gmedia .
