Man sends friend to early grave over N2,000  ‎

‎A 37-year-old man identified as Kamoli Isiaka met his untimely death when he was stabbed to death by his friend Azeez over a fee of N2, 000 given to the two of them by one Mr. Ololade.

Reports say both Azeez and Isiaka had a fight over the money given to them by the said Mr. Ololade as Azeez later got hold of the broken bottle which he used to stab Isiaka in the neck.

Residents of Ololade Street at Morogbo community did everything they could to save Isiaka's life by rushing him to a hospital but the victim could not survive the attack due to loss of blood.

‎The remains of Isiaka has been committed to mother earth at a Muslim burial ground at Iyana Isashi according to Muslim rites.

But before Isiaka was buried, his corpse was retrieved at the Badagry General Hospital by family members who took it to the Baale of Ayetejuesefo community in Elija, where the alleged suspect fled to  after committing the crime.

While narrating the incident, Alfa, step-brother to the deceased said;  "the man, whom they named the street after, gave Isiaka, and two of his friends N2,000 for a reason yet to be known. It was while they were sharing the money that Isiaka and Azeez began to fight. While people who were around tried to intervene , Azeez rushed into his house, picked a bottle, broke it and stabbed Isiaka. Immediately neighbours around tried to save isiaka's life by taking him to the hospital, unfortunately, he died on the way due to loss of much blood."
