Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has paid
glowing tributes to her senior colleague Kate Henshaw who turned a year older
today saying the Kate greatly influenced her career while also thanking the
dark skinned thespian for her motivation over the years.
In a birthday message posted on her
Instagram page, Uche revealed that Kate was the first star that she met with
while she was an up and coming actress and say the Cross River State born
thespian spurred her on to become what she is in the movie industry while also
influencing her attitude to fame.
“My love for the birthday girl is well
documented! Yes she was the 1st star actress I met in Nollywood (I was a huge
fan of 'when the sun set' movie) I remember leaving Opa Williams's office that
day with an advice. Kate Henshaw has indirectly affected my attitude to fame.
"Fame doesn't change who we are, fame
adds to what we are" the institution called Kate Henshaw, I just want to
use this day of your birth to let you know I am grateful to have met you
earlier in my career and to tell you to never stop being you.” Uche posted on
Instagram.
