Talented Ugandan Act Drops New Video

Ugandan king of Mwooyo (soul) - Maurice Kirya has released the music video of  "Hold On" - the third single off Kirya's latest album: Mwooyo (released Feb 2015). "Hold on" is produced by Sam Bisaso, and its music video directed by Jim Resley and Maurice Kirya. Kirya is also the CEO of one of Uganda's most loved restaurants: The Sound Cup. In the "Hold on" music video, the heartthrob has featured one of Sound Cup's waitresses as his love interest. The storyline revolves around a conflicted man, who won't relent at hard work despite challenges to make ends meet to support his woman.

"Hold On" is a simple yet powerful acoustic song flaunting Kirya's inimitable soulful style of music – aptly dubbed Mwooyo. "Hold on" follows the overwhelming success of Kirya's previous videos "Never been Loved" and "Busaabala". Maurice Kirya says, "This has been a big year for me and I can't wait for you to watch the music video of "Hold on". Consider this a precursor of a big announcement that I will be making soon!"

"Hold on" is off the album: "Mwooyo" is available for sale in different stores and online via iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Waabeh. Feel free to share this info and the music video of the single "Hold On" within your networks!
